Carlo Lazzarini

Carlo Lazzarini, born in Luxembourg on March 10, 1967, has been a member of the PWO AG Executive Board since September 1, 2020. As CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board, he is responsible for Sales, Technology, Global Business Units, Development and Prototype Construction, Industrialization and Industry 4.0 as well as HR, Communication and Public Relations.

He graduated in engineering with a specialization in industrial automation from the École Nationale Supérieure d’Electricité et de Mécanique in Nancy, France, and also received an additional Master’s degree in mechanical engineering in Nancy. In the course of his professional career, he acquired several certificates in business & administration from the Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD).

Carlo Lazzarini has more than 20 years of experience in general management roles at innovation-driven international technology firms. In this period, he acquired extensive leadership experience in the transformation and performance enhancement of companies through restructuring, transformation of business models, change management, and portfolio diversification.

His industry expertise covers among others a wide range of transportation sectors (automotive, commercial vehicles, buses, rail vehicles, suppliers).
