Oberkirch, April 27, 2021 - From April 21 to 28, 2021, the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai, China, will host Auto Shanghai, the leading automotive industry trade show in Asia. This will be the fourth time that PWO is participating in the fair.

In Shanghai, we will be presenting the full breadth of our comprehensive range of solutions for electrification, safety & comfort for the vehicles of the future. Under the motto "People, Plant, Progress!" we will address the current megatrends and show how we are shaping the transformation of the mobility industry with our customers.

A particular focus will be placed on sustainability issues such as extending the range of electric vehicles. With our extensive lightweight expertise at the frontiers of metal forming and joining technology, we offer outstanding solutions in this area. Innovative forming solutions can also replace today's use of welding for joining and contribute to an improved environmental balance of the products.

Carlo Lazzarini, CEO of PWO, emphasizes: "Within our portfolio, our Chinese locations, together with our home location in Oberkirch, have one of the broadest ranges of products and services. We intend to leverage this strength to cover even more areas and continue to vigorously expand our activities in China over the next few years."

Amy Zhang, Head of Sales of PWO in China, is looking forward to a number of interesting discussions: "We have a solid existing customer base in China and have also built up extensive new contacts in the mobility industry over the last few quarters. We want to use Auto Shanghai as a platform to forge even closer ties and favorably position ourselves for future tenders. With our production site in Suzhou and our assembly plant in Shenyang, we are in a prime position to serve the market efficiently and just-in-time in key customer regions in China."
