Oberkirch, September 06, 2019 - PWO has been named by Brose - one of its largest customers - as a member of the Brose Exclusive Supplier Team ("BEST"). During a visit, the managing director responsible for procurement at the Brose Group, Periklis Nassios, the Head of Procurement Mechanics and Raw Materials, Werner Appelmann, and Head of Procurement Metal, Stephanie Thorel-Walsdorf, presented this prestigious award to the great pleasure of the PWO sales team.

PWO was already recognized by Brose as a "Key Supplier" in 2016 and 2018, as one of 90 suppliers for PWO's particular strategic importance and history of delivery reliability. Brose is now forming a new, special supplier platform for this already prominent group consisting initially of eight "BEST" suppliers, with whom Brose will work more intensely in the future.

Brose presented the award while expressing its deep appreciation for the extraordinary commitment, superior delivery quality and reliability, and exceptionally innovative products and processes, which PWO has proven repeatedly during the numerous joint projects.

CEO Volker Simon was very pleased with the award saying: "We have been a business partner of Brose for more than 30 years and are currently one of this globally operating group's largest suppliers and one of the few to supply to all three of its business units (doors, drives and seats). Our five plants, spread among all of the markets important for our customers, make us a competitive partner, enabling us to more than double our business volume with the Brose Group since 2010. We currently deliver about 50 million components per year to this customer. This award is in recognition of the superior performance of all our employees who we would like to thank for their continued strong commitment. We would also like to thank Brose for their many years of trustworthy cooperation."
